Itinerary

Day 1 | Arrive Quito’s Mariscal Sucre Airport. You will be met outside customs or baggage claim for a private transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 | Enjoy a full day privately guided tour of the city. You’ll begin with a walking tour of the old colonial city center, visiting San Francisco Church and Monastery, La Compañia Jesuit Church, known for its indigenous designs in gold leaf, the Presidential Palace, and Independence Square. Enjoy a brief stop for lunch before continuing north to either Mitad del Mundo, the Equatorial Monument, or enjoy a cable car ride up Pichincha Volcano for spectacular views of the city and surrounding Andean peaks, or visit La Capilla del Hombre (the chapel of man) - the museum and art collection of Ecuador’s noted modern artist Oswaldo Guayasamin.

Day 3 | Private transfer back to the airport for your flight to Galapagos (pre-cruise extension), or flight home (post-cruise extension).
