Marketing Manager

For more than 50 years, International Nature & Cultural Adventures (INCA) has created journeys that connect travelers with remarkable places, expert guides, wildlife, cultures, and people around the world. We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to build a holistic, results-driven marketing program and help lead our next phase of growth.

This is a senior, hands-on role managing two divisions of our parent company: INCA, our main brand that operates luxury adventures around the world, and Integrity Galapagos, our sales and marketing operation for the yacht INTEGRITY in the Galapagos Islands.

You will set direction, establish priorities, lead execution, work closely with leadership and the sales team, and manage outside specialists and partners as needed. As the company grows, you will help build and lead the marketing team that supports the strategy.

Overview of Responsibilities

Lead Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for INCA and Integrity Galapagos, including priorities, budgets, campaigns, calendars, and success metrics.

  • Deepen our understanding of our best customers, travel advisors, and trade partners and use those insights to sharpen positioning, messaging, and targeting.

  • Identify growth opportunities through customer, market, competitor, and sales analysis.

  • Protect and strengthen the distinct brand voice and visual identity of each business.

Drive Growth

  • Lead integrated campaigns across email/CRM, direct mail, website and SEO, PR, partnerships, digital and print marketing, social media, and other appropriate channels.

  • Focus primarily on growing INCA through qualified inquiries, bookings, repeat travel, referrals, and stronger retail travel advisor engagement.

  • Support Integrity Galapagos through trade marketing to tour operators, DMCs, and other wholesale partners, including newsletters, training, sales materials, international trade shows, road shows, FAMs, and partner communications.

  • Oversee content and communications for both brands, personally writing and editing key materials while managing outside specialists where appropriate.

  • Work closely with the sales team to support lead generation, conversion, account development, and priority business opportunities.

Measure, Manage and Build

  • Manage CRM segmentation and customer and trade partner communications.

  • Track meaningful results, including campaign performance, qualified inquiries, conversions, repeat business, partner engagement, and yacht sales.

  • Use data and market feedback to refine audiences, messaging, spending, and priorities.

  • Manage marketing projects, budgets, vendors, contractors, and assets from idea through completion.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an accomplished Marketing Manager with at least five years of strategic experience who can take ownership, bring inspired solutions, and help shape INCA’s next phase of growth.

This is a new leadership position for someone who combines strategic thinking, creativity, and practical execution. You should be comfortable moving between strategy and hands-on work, managing multiple priorities, making well-thought-out recommendations, and collaborating closely within a small team.

You will have ownership of the marketing direction, direct engagement with company leadership, room to develop and test new ideas, and ultimately the opportunity to build the company’s marketing —and eventually a team —around the strategy you help shape.

We care about thoughtful work, exceptional travel experiences, strong relationships, responsible travel, and doing things well, not simply doing more of them.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, with demonstrated responsibility for strategy and execution.

  • Experience in travel, hospitality, luxury, or another high-touch, relationship-driven business.

  • Experience developing and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns.

  • Strong experience with email/CRM marketing, website management, SEO, content, and marketing analytics.

  • Experience using design software and web tools to create aesthetic and effective marketing elements.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills and a strong eye for effective digital and print communications.

  • Ability to use customer, campaign, and sales data to inform decisions and measure results.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, outside vendors, and resources from planning through completion.

  • Proactive, self-directed, collaborative, and comfortable taking ownership.

  • B2B, travel-trade, tour operator, DMC, or partner-marketing experience is a strong plus.

  • Fluency in English is essential. Fluency in Spanish, with solid writing and speaking skills, is a plus.

Location

Northern California preferred but may be performed remotely, with regular cross-time-zone collaboration and occasional travel to INCA’s Oakland, California office. International applicants may be considered.

Compensation

Competitive salary and benefits, with compensation based on experience, qualifications, and local market conditions.

How to Apply

Please use the Application form, where you will submit:

  • A cover letter telling us why this role and our company interest you.

  • Your resume or CV.

  • Examples of marketing work, campaigns, or portfolio, if available.

Please note that we are not looking for a finished marketing plan within the presentation.
