RCGS Resolute

Forward facing observation lounge

Forward facing observation lounge

Designed for comfort, RCGS Resolute is modern, well appointed, safe and ice-strengthened. Equipped with propellers of stainless steel, high density steel plating and small frame spacing on her hull, RCGS Resolute continues into the ice, when others simply cannot. Unmatched stability coupled with superior speed allows for a better chance for the eclipse viewing, more time at your destination and more flexibility with itinerary planning, a critical factor in polar waters where ice and weather conditions sometimes dictate daily plans.

A heated pool provides spectacular views

A heated pool provides spectacular views

Spacious outer decks provide 360 degrees of viewing, perfect for photography, wildlife watching, birding and appreciating the expansive views. The salt water plunge pool, large relaxation deck, hot water jacuzzi are located aft of the wellness center (massage therapy, Finnish Sauna, steam room) and well equipped gymnasium. Inside are multiple areas to explore ranging from the well appointed theater style presentation room, aft observation lounge and bar, forward observation lounge and bar, and both dining rooms. A multimedia room, gift shop, doctor’s office and mobile laboratory complete the spaces available to explore and enjoy while cruising through the most amazing scenery on earth.

The sumptuous meals prepared for you by the culinary team are enjoyed in either of two dining rooms, one of which features our popular bistro menu offering quick and easy meals for those prioritizing time out on deck. Both dining rooms have ample and open seating paired with modern furnishings and large picture windows with 180 degree views.

All staterooms feature spacious sleeping and sitting areas

All staterooms feature spacious sleeping and sitting areas

All staterooms feature lower berths that can be configured with two single beds or a large double bed. A modern sectional sofa provides a quiet nook on which to read, while high quality cabinetry with soft close drawers, contemporary and a spacious bathroom design complete the stateroom’s comfort and convenience.

Originally built to hold 189 guests, the capacity is limited to just 135 guests for the eclipse cruise. This allows more opportunities for shore excursions and a higher crew to guest ratio. The Lloyds ice class rating of 1AS results in no limitations to the sites available for landing and exploration.

RCGS Resolute is expedition cruising at its finest.
