Hiram Bingham Train

Launched in 2003, the Hiram Bingham Train is a partnership between Peru Rail and Belmond to bring a luxury rail experience to Peru. Named after the American explorer who discovered the ruins of Machu Picchu, the train evokes an era of bespoke luxury travel. The chassis were built by the French international hotel and travel logistics company, Compagnie Des Internationales Wagons-Lits.

The Journey

Your journey begins with VIP check-in and reception in the lounge before boarding the train amidst traditional Peruvian costumes and welcome snacks. Once onboard, you will dine in elegance with the finest Peruvian cuisine, followed by entertainment and cocktails in the 1930s styled bar car and lounge.
