Galapagos with Machu Picchu
16-day adventure
Enhance your Galapagos adventure with a visit to Machu Picchu. Begin with an overnight in Lima, Peru, then fly to Cuzco for a walking tour of historic Cuzco, overnight in Urubamba Valley, and 3-day/2-night stay at Machu Picchu. You will have time to explore the less-visited corners, to contemplate the ruins at your own pace, visit the Inca Bridge, hike to the Sun Gate, or take optional hikes with our guide to Huayna Picchu and Machu Picchu Mountain. Then it's off to Ecuador for a 10-day Galápagos adventure to complete this nature and cultural experience!

Day 1 |
Fly to Lima, Peru, overnight in Lima. |
Day 2 |
Fly to Cuzco, enjoy a leisurely walking tour of Cuzco, visit Sacsayhuaman en route to the Urubamba Valley. |
Day 3 |
Spectacular train ride to Machu Picchu. Exploration of Machu Picchu site with optional hike with the guide to Machu Picchu Mountain. |
Day 4 |
Sunrise to sunset in Machu Picchu. Optional hike to Huayna Picchu. |
Day 5 |
Morning in Machu Picchu. Afternoon train back to Cuzco. |
Day 6 |
Fly from Cuzco to Quito, Ecuador via Lima. Overnight in Quito |
Day 7 |
Integrity departures: Fly to Galápagos Islands. Visit Santa Cruz Island Highlands. Overnight at The Royal Palm Resort.
Reina Silvia departures:
Full day Quito City tour with Equatorial Monument visit. |
Day 8 |
Integrity departures: Visit Charles Darwin Research Station. Board our yacht at dinnertime.
Reina Silvia departures: Fly to Galápagos Islands, board our yacht and start Galápagos cruising! |
Day 9-14 |
Live aboard the yacht and spend as much time exploring the islands as park rules permit. We have at least two shore visits each day, timed to avoid the large cruise ship groups. We have several chances to swim and snorkel during our week. Each night we travel on to another unique island. |
Day 15 |
Breakfast on board the yacht, then disembark and fly back to Quito for dinner and overnight. |
Day 16 |
Depart for home, or on to other adventures. |
