Royal Galapagos

12-day adventure

Get up close and personal with Galapagos during this 12-day adventure. Sit nose to nose with a grandfather tortoise, swim with sea lions and watch curious frigate birds land to greet you. There's no other place on earth like this!

There, our two nights spent in charming accommodations at the Royal Palm Resort Hotel (Integrity departures) or in Puerto Ayora (Reina Silvia departures) are a welcome introduction to the pace of the Islands.

Our extensive time on Santa Cruz Island includes a visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station where we learn about conservation issues and tortoise hatching and rearing programs. We also explore the highlands to visit giant tortoises in the wild and learn about the unique highland rain-cloud forest, a contrast to the dry, lava coasts we'll see for most of our Galapagos visit.

One of our favorite experiences is our visit to the beautiful white sand beach and bay of Tortuga Bay. There we'll stroll through gentle surf, try out our snorkel gear, hang out with marine iguanas and, in the right season, see nesting pelicans.

All this and more before boarding our yacht for a week's cruise through the Galapagos.

This unique Galapagos highlands adventure is an INCA exclusive. Come see more of the Islands!

Day 2-3

The Galápagos! We have two days exploring the varied ecology of Santa Cruz island, while staying at the Royal Palm Resort Hotel in the lush highlands (Integrity) or in the town of Puerto Ayora (Reina Silvia).

During the course of our stay, we will hike in the rainforest, visit giant tortoises in their natural habitat, visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, stroll Puerto Ayora, explore lava tubes and sink holes, and hike to the beautiful white sand beach of Tortuga Bay. We'll swim and snorkel, dine well and relax.

Fuel Surcharge

On April 15, 2011, the Ecuadorian Government decreed, without warning and effective immediately, a 30% increase in the price of fuel for all yachts and ships in the Galápagos Islands.

After fruitless protestations and appeals, the yacht owner has reluctantly imposed a per person Fuel Surcharge of $175 on the Reina Silvia and $200 on the Integrity, effective for all departures after July 1, 2011.

This applies to all travelers including those already booked.
