Why travel with the Galapagos Conservancy?
This is a perfect trip for those seeking a behind-the-scenes look at the Galapagos National Park and the tremendous work being done by scientists and others to promote the conservation of the Galapagos Islands and its magnificent wildlife. In addition to an INCA naturalist onboard, you will also have the opportunity to travel with Dr. Linda Cayot as a co-leader. She is began her career in the Galapagos in 1981, served as herpetologist of the Charles Darwin Research Station for 10 years and is currently the Galapagos Conservancy’s science adviser collaborating with the park service to strategize future conservation efforts.
Where does my donation go?
The $1,000 per person donation goes directly to the Galapagos Conservancy which allocates the resources to projects such as ecosystem restoration, giant tortoise restoration, environmental education, community outreach, combating invasive species and saving the land birds. What will I will see? Are there differences in the routes?
